Since Don Middleton began the company 60 years ago, Genex has been focused on customers — helping them move loads efficiently and cost-effectively while overcoming logistics challenges. Now as third generational leadership, Patrick and Andrew proudly continue the family enterprise. And still put customers first.
Our business is built on close, honest working relationships. From day one, you’ll work hand in hand with a team of trained transportation professionals with years of practical experience. They’ll get to know the ins and outs of your business, fine-tune solutions to meet your unique shipping needs, and keep you informed every step of the way.

Andrew is a key decision-maker and responsible for developing partnerships and solutions for current and future customers. In this leadership role, he is focused on building and maintaining long-term relationships with customers and suppliers to deliver exceptional service at competitive prices. He works directly with customers to help them find solutions, improvements, and the best fit for them in the ever-changing transportation market. Andrew also mentors Genex teammates, encouraging them to continually develop their industry knowledge to ensure our team is doing everything we can to meet and exceed customer expectations.
Working in logistics from a young age, Andrew continues to enjoy the fast-paced workplace and is proud to be a part of the Genex legacy and its 60 years of service. He officially started in 2009, serving in various capacities, including OTR and intermodal operations and account management. In 2019, Andrew and his cousin Patrick became Agency Owners. He has a BS in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Elmhurst University and is a Certified Transportation Broker.

Patrick is a key decision-maker and responsible for overall management at Genex. In this leadership role, he is focused on strategic planning and customer relationships so that Genex can meet customers’ needs now and well into the future. Patrick heads up many areas, including hiring, training, finance, goal-setting, and reporting. He is also closely connected with transportation partners to ensure we’re always prepared with a full array of services and solutions. Patrick enjoys the industry and developing lasting relationships with customers and carriers to ensure success.
His father and uncle both mentored Patrick on how to run a family business and the intricacies of transportation. In addition to his HR, administration, and accounting skills, he has years of intermodal and OTR operations experience. Patrick has a BA from Marquette University, and pursued further professional development at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, where he earned certificates in Fundamentals of Management and two Supply Chain series.

Jocelyne not only manages intermodal shipments, she takes pride in maintaining an ongoing dialogue with customers. That includes responding to rate requests and keeping customers apprised with daily shipment reports. She’s closely attuned to railroad rates to help ensure cost-effective pricing and makes it a goal to build solid working relationships with our intermodal carriers to ensure an exceptional experience for our customers.

Josh ensures customers receive superior service as well as timely, professional responses from our team. He works closely across the board to enhance effectiveness, understand customers’ needs, monitor industry requirements and trends, and disseminate key insights to our team. He’s committed to providing competitive rates and viable solutions alongside honest, transparent communication so customers know exactly where their freight is at all times.

Matthew helps process and coordinate customer shipments from tender to delivery through order entry, dispatch, tracking, and appointment scheduling. In his role, he proactively communicates with customers, vendors, and carriers to make sure expectations are met, relationships are maintained, and customers are completely satisfied. He also helps implement cost-effective options for customers to help ensure they get the best value for their transportation dollar.

Sofia plays a vital role in the accounting process. She audits the payables and receivables before loads are finalized to ensure everything is in order. That includes retrieving all documents — BOLs, PODs, and back-up documentation receipts. Sofia’s careful review and close attention to even the smallest financial detail helps avoid errors and ensures Genex’s accounting process runs smoothly.

Jessica interacts with customers on a day-to-day basis to make sure we’re meeting — and exceeding — client expectations. That includes coordinating appointments, producing vital reports, and handling the financial aspect of orders, including audits as needed. She ensures the billing process is efficient and strives to understand the customer’s perspective at all times.
If you enjoy working with people and are innovative, solution-oriented, and a clear communicator, let’s talk. Genex is always looking to add like-minded professionals to our dedicated team.
